The ancestral home of the Brownlow family from 1833 - 1895.

Brownlow House is a Grade A listed building. It was the ancestral home of the Brownlow family from 1833 – 1895.

During WW2 it was home to the American Forces and served as its HQ, where some of the main battles of WW2 were planned. Today it hosts two on site museums, tea rooms and tours of the building are available by booking.
