They are noted as being at Bottisham 1st October 1944 and arriving at Little Waldon, Essex 8th October 1944. A detachment is noted at Greencastle from 1st October 1944
- 1262d Military Police Company, Aviation: no date given. Known to be stationed at Deopham Green, Norfolk by 1st October 1944. They were an element of 8th Air Force Composite Command and a detachment was stationed at Kilkeel 25th May 1944
