The Ballance House Second-Hand Book Fair

Come and visit The Ballance House, near Glenavy.  We are really looking forward to holding our first Book Sale on 10 March, 11 – 3 pm.  There will be a huge selection with over 3,000 second-hand books to choose from, including a great range of children’s titles.  From 11.30 and every hour, we will be doing children’s book-readings from favourite New Zealand authors read by our Kiwi volunteers. Guided Tours of the House will also be available every hour from 12 noon.  The Tea Barn will be serving up Kiwi treats including proper ‘pav’, ginger crunch, lolly cake and more.  Free Entrance and car parking.
